Each member of the dolls will be interviewed by the divas(female wrestlers) of wwe. This is Ashleys   interview by a diva Kelly Kelly.
The Divas Meet the Dolls: Kelly Kelly & Ashley
November 24, 2008
Kelly Kelly and Ashley Roberts kick off the first installment of WWE.com’s The Divas Meet the Dolls – a week-long series featuring conversations between the WWE Divas and the Pussycat Dolls. The pop group recently released their second studio album, Doll Domination.
Ashley: Hi Kelly Kelly! It's so great to talk to you. Tell me, when did you decide you wanted to get involved with WWE?

Kelly Kelly: It's so nice to meet you, too, Ashley! Well, when I was 19 years old, WWE found me and offered me a dream job of a lifetime and I took it and trained to become a WWE Diva.
thanks to pcd521 for passing the link to me
Ashley: That's so cool. So is there a song you listen to to help pump you up before a big match?

Kelly Kelly: Yeah, there are a lot. I’d have to say “When I Grow Up” by you guys is one that I listen to before I go out on stage.

Is there a song you’d suggest that would be a good one to play in our arenas to help open a WWE show?

Ashley: I would say “Takin’ Over the World” because you are a rock star like us, and WWE is takin’ over the world, baby!

Kelly Kelly: You got it, girl! So what do you do to prepare yourself for going out on stage?

Ashley: I always try and stretch and warm up my muscles. And then take a second to say thanks and ground myself.

Kelly Kelly: What’s that moment like, right before you get on stage?

Ashley: It’s so exciting. I usually get little butterflies in my stomach, especially if I have people I know in the audience. How about you?

Kelly Kelly: I pray before every match. I know that I’m in God’s hands, and He will give me the strength to do amazing! ... But I get so nervous before I go out, so I try to keep my mind on the match and keep telling myself I’ll be great!

Ashley: Of course you'll be great! So, on your days off, do you do anything special to pamper yourself?

Kelly Kelly: I sleep a lot, and just spend time with friends, shopping, going to the beach and try to be as normal as possible when I’m home.

Ashley: What is your sanctuary like? Where do you go to find peace of mind?

Kelly Kelly: I love spending time in my own bed and just relaxing, reading a book or watching a movie. I’m a total homebody, so anytime I’m home, that is where I find peace of mind. My sanctuary is surrounded with pictures of friends and family, pictures of art and a lot of pink things! And lots of clothes! How about yours?

Ashley: The beach is most definitely my sanctuary. I love the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves. The water just calms me and I feel the most at peace.

So if you could lock yourself in for an evening of watching movies, which three films would you watch?

Kelly Kelly: The Notebook, Sex and the City and Halloween. How about you?

Ashley: I’d also pick Sex and the City! My other two would be Good Will Hunting and Tommy Boy.

Now, we both have busy travel schedules. What’s the most challenging thing about traveling with WWE? What is your favorite thing about traveling?

Kelly Kelly: The best thing has to be getting to see the world. The most challenging thing is losing sleep! How about you?

Ashley: The most challenging is being away from my loved ones. … And missing my bed! The best part is getting to do what I love to do, which is performing on stage, and I get to do it all over the world.

The Divas Meet the Dolls: Maria & Nicole
November 25, 2008
In the second installment of WWE.com’s The Divas Meet the Dolls, SmackDown’s Maria gets to know Pussycat Dolls lead vocalist, Nicole Scherzinger. Read on to find out what the Diva and the Doll have in common.

Nicole: Hey, Maria! It's really great to talk to you. I'm a big fan of the WWE Divas. You ladies kick butt! Are there any self defense tips you can share with me?

Maria: Spank you so much! You guys rock, too. Yes, I can! If you are walking alone, always look straight ahead and don't look down ’cause it makes you look scared. Look like you have somewhere to be and that you are in control.

Stilettos are probably your best weapon in a fight. You can always stomp on toes and on faces when you get the girl down!
So, Nicole, I love the Dolls' new album. How would you describe Doll Domination to the WWE Universe?

Nicole: It's lots of fun and very empowering for all our women and Pussycat Dolls out there! Doll Domination has the swagger and attitude of PCD, but this album also shows a more vulnerable, emotional side, where you can relate to us that much more. Fun, strong and sexy done with heart and soul.

Maria: Sounds like something the WWE Universe would love! What songs are you most proud of on the new album and why?

Nicole: All of them. They are all my babies and I am so proud and feel blessed to have done this album. Each song is special and has its own energy! The songs closest to me right now are "I'm Done" "Hate This Part" and "Halo."

Speaking of songs... Maria, if you could have a PCD song as your entrance music, which one would you choose?

Maria: “When I Grow Up” because I've had big dreams since I was little. I've always been a performer.

I'm also into fashion. You ladies have a great style. Was there anyone in your life who inspired your unique style?

Nicole: I guess my mom was the first to inspire me. She was so beautiful and fashionable in the ’80s when I was growing up – lots of fun! Nowadays, I'm inspired by the other Dolls’ styles and also my exotic, island background!

You have an amazing style, too. Where do you get your fashion influence from?

Maria: I get it from all kinds of things, from the people around me or the cities I am in, and of course, what's comfortable, what's sexy and what travels easy. I have always loved animal prints, punk rock style and the ’70s. Fashion is something you can make a statement with without saying a word, so I like to use that to my advantage. (Read Maria's blog at WWE Universe)

So, girl, where did you grow up? Tell me about your hometown.

Nicole: I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but actually grew up in good ole’ Louisville, Ky.! I loved growing up in Louisville. It is a great place to raise a family, even though the state is in the south, our city was pretty metropolitan and very arts-oriented. I was fortunate enough to even go to a youth performing arts high school where I got the base of my performing arts training! Louisville's a great place to go see some horse races, watch the leaves change colors in the fall, eat a “Kentucky hot brown” and have a white Christmas in!

Where did you grow up? Aren't you from Chicago?

Maria: I grew up in Ottawa, Ill., which is a small, quaint town outside of Chicago. It's a town where everyone knows everyone. High school football games and basketball games are the biggest events that go on. It has one movie theater, a cruising street and two rivers. My favorite places in town are my old dance studio, the high school football field, Jeremiah Joe's Coffee, the Highway Restaurant and Tone's Cones, the best ice cream ever!

Nicole: I know it’s tough being on the road for long periods of time. What has been one of your greatest challenges that you’ve triumphed over?

Maria: Being away from home. My sister is seven years younger than me, but this year I finally found a way to be there for her special events. This year, I was home the day of her prom to do her hair and make-up, I saw her off at homecoming and at graduation, and even helped with her move to college. My brother just had a baby and I was there the day my niece, Addy, was born. She is such a beautiful baby girl. Life is the greatest gift, so it's nice to find a way to be a part of the people's lives that are most important to me.

Aside from being a Pussycat Doll, do you have a personal dream that you're striving for?

Nicole: Yes, I dream of doing my own music and the day I put my solo album out. Also, I've studied acting more than anything in my life, so I dream of doing films and also getting back to the theatre and musical theater again, perhaps a movie musical, with my own music one day! I aspire to have my own charity or school for special needs kids and children in need.

The Divas Meet the Dolls: Mickie James & Jessica
December 1, 2008
Former Women’s Champion Mickie James shares tales of her life as a Diva with Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta in the latest installment of WWE.com’s The Divas Meet the Dolls.

Jessica: Hi, Mickie! It's so exciting to meet a former Women's Champion! As a four-time Women’s Titleholder, what are you most proud of in your WWE career?

Mickie: This is a tough question, as there is so much I am genuinely proud of in my WWE career. The ability to achieve my dreams is so rewarding. To become Women's Champion on the Grandest Stage of Them All was the culmination of my years of hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, tears and sacrifices that many wouldn't begin to understand. Now as a four-time Women's Champion, and to have been able to do and see so much within these last few years, I believe the thing I am most proud of is the ability to touch so many people’s lives, to give them hope and inspiration to believe and achieve. Nothing is impossible, even if all the odds are against you. Only you control your destiny. I am living proof of that fact. And I am thankful everyday for it.
What are you most proud of when it comes to the Pussycat Dolls’ new album, Doll Domination?

Jessica: How much we've grown as artists! … And how diverse it is.

So aside from being a WWE Diva, do you have a personal dream that you’re striving for?

Mickie: If I was to accomplish anything outside of the continuous growth of my WWE career, it would be to star in at least one movie. I've always found them fascinating, and would lose myself in stories as a child. I would sometimes daydream and pretend I was the leading female in whatever movie I was watching. I have always dreamed of being a star on the big screen.

Other than that, I look forward to the day I become a mother. As sappy as it may sound, I was blessed with two very wonderful women in my life. First is my mother, who always believed in me and gave me strength, love and wisdom. I can only aspire to fill her shoes. Second is my grandmother who was the backbone in my family. She is the toughest women I know and she showed me how to work and fight hard for everything I want. Nothing comes for free in this world and if it does, then it’s often not valued. Her tough yet tender love is something that made me who I am today.

Now let me ask you, aside from being a Pussycat Doll, do you have a personal dream that you’re striving for?

Jessica: My answer is the same as yours – to become a movie star and a mommy!

Girl, I know it’s tough being on the road for long periods of time. What has been one of your greatest challenges that you’ve triumphed over?

Mickie: I think one of the toughest challenges I have faced, as far as being on the road, is to always stay upbeat and happy. There is nothing that could ever effect my personality and passion once I step out that curtain. However, we all face challenges in our personal and daily lives that may bring us down. …

I find it especially challenging when we come off a long tour and fly into town our fans are at the airport waiting for autographs. We are all exhausted and can’t wait to get to our hotels. But then I think if it weren't for their loyalty to us, we wouldn't be who we are today. Besides, I was once one of those adoring fans who would have been crushed if my idol just blew me off. So it makes me smile.

One thing I like to remind my fans of is that I’m a human, too. I make mistakes and I have personal challenges and triumphs in my life, just like everybody else.

Enough about me... What has been one of your greatest challenges that you’ve triumphed over?

Jessica: I would say my knee injuries. When I was 17, I tore my ACL ligaments in both knees. It was a really sad time in my life because I thought my dance career was over. But through hard work and dedication in rehab I fought through the pain and became stronger. Now I'm in the Pussycat Dolls, dancing stronger than ever all around the world. If you go beyond what you know, you'll be pleasantly surprised how strong you really are.

Finally, Mickie, what would you like to accomplish in the future?

Mickie: I would like to continue to grow in my career. Growing up a fan of WWE, I always admired all the women who paved the way for me and every other Diva. They proved that even in a male-dominated industry, women are just as important, strong and valuable as any man on the roster. I think if it weren't for them, where would I be? I hope to be someone who the up-and-coming Divas look at in that fashion. Even after I've made my mark in WWE, I hope when people look back at the greatest women in the history of WWE, they think of me. I believe we all play a role in revolutionizing how people perceive us as entertainers. I want to be a Diva that helps to pave the way for those to follow.

The Divas Meet the Dolls: Candice Michelle & Melody
December 3, 2008
In the fourth installment of WWE.com’s The Divas Meet the Dolls, Candice Michelle talks to Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton. The Diva who is “defining beauty” tells Melody why she’s grateful to be where she is today.

Candice Michelle: Hi, Melody. It's an honor to talk to you. As the youngest member of the Pussycat Dolls, what accomplishments are you most proud of?

Melody: It's great to meet you, too, Candice. I am proud to have begun a career in music so young. I'm still working to make it a huge success, but I came from very humble beginnings and had a lot of people tell me it wasn't possible.
I'm honored to be talking to a former WWE Women’s Champion! What accomplishments are you most proud of?

Candice Michelle: I am most proud of being the first woman to come from the WWE Diva Search to win the WWE Women’s Championship. It was awesome being the underdog and proving all the critics wrong that I am a contender in the ring.

I am also really proud of starring in three Super Bowl commercials for GoDaddy.com, my Playboy cover from April 2006 and being named one of E!’s 50 Hottest Women on the Web. I feel truly blessed for all of these accomplishments.

As a Pussycat Doll, you are a role model to millions. Who have been three role models in your life, and why?

Melody: First is Mariah Carey, who is my all-time favorite female vocalist. Second is my mother, because she is a real woman. That’s hard to come by. Third is a guru named Amma who has devoted her life to spreading peace throughout the world much in the way Mother Theresa did. She travels the world giving thousands of people hugs for hours at a time. I would love to be able to help the people of the world with such positivity.

You, too, are an incredible role model as a WWE Diva. Who are the role models in your life?

Candice Michelle: Like you, my mom has been a huge role model for me. She was an independent woman who always encouraged me to go for my dreams. Even though she has passed, I still look up to her and feel her presence guiding me. She’s my guardian angel.

Second is my sister, Dana. I am used to the hustle and bustle of being a WWE Diva, but I see her hustle and bustle with motherhood and as an amazing cook. She is the Betty Crocker of my family! She helps me stay grounded and remember the important things in life.

Third, my chiropractor always keeps me healthy and positive. He always looks on the bright side of things and inspires me.

Aside from being a Pussycat Doll, do you have a personal dream that you're striving for?

Melody: I have always dreamed to be a singer. I will always strive to be the best. How about you?

Candice Michelle: I am living a dream and I am thankful every day for it!

This might be a tricky one... Do you like to cook? What meal would you cook for me? Do you have a favorite recipe you could share?

Melody: My favorite food is Mexican food! I would make you enchiladas, but I can’t share the recipe – it’s a family secret!

What would you cook for me, Candice?

Candice Michelle: I’m from Milwaukee, Wisc. I’m an original cheesehead! I’m an awful cook, but I can make a mean beer-n-brats on the grill! Otherwise, I can order a mean take out!

Finally, what's the most important message you want to get across as a Pussycat Doll?

Melody: Especially for those who aspire to be in music, I believe that you should use your voice for good and to help spread a positive message, which is what I intend to do when opportunity knocks.

Now you answer the question, but as a Diva. What’s the most important message you want to get across as a WWE Diva?

Candice Michelle: Defining beauty. Beauty really comes from the inside! It takes character, charisma, love and gratitude to succeed. Everyone has beauty in them, which defines them. Have faith in yourself and your dreams will come true!

The Divas Meet the Dolls: Michelle McCool & Kim
In the final installment of WWE.com’s The Divas Meet the Dolls, Divas Champion Michelle McCool chats with Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt. Miss a day of The Divas Meet the Dolls? Read the other interviews now: Kelly Kelly & Ashley, Maria & Nicole, Mickie James & Jessica and Candice Michelle & Melody.

Kim: Hi Michelle! It's so great to meet you. As a WWE Diva, you have a global fan base of millions. Is there any memory that sticks out in your mind when a WWE fan inspired you?

Michelle: Oh yeah, at WrestleMania 24 last year, I, along with Kane and Rey Mysterio, granted the wishes of 54 kids with WWE’s Circle of Champions and Make-A-Wish Foundation. (Read about it) It's these kids who have the biggest hearts, are so courageous and incredibly endearing, and oh-so inspiring. They really put things into perspective. They are true champions!
Like WWE, you Dolls have a global fan base of millions. Is there any memory that sticks out in your mind, when a fan inspired you or reminded you why you do what do?

Kim: Honestly, I'm reminded every day through blogs and YouTube montages on the Internet. But the best reminder is being on stage in every country and seeing the fans singing along and screaming like crazy! Even if they can't speak our language they can sure sing it.

WWE has a large fan base, too, of different ages. What advice do you give young WWE fans about striving for adulthood?

Michelle: Set dreams and then to go after them. No dream is too big or too small. If you don’t go after them, someone else will. Remember that it's too easy to give up. You have to have faith to fight the good fight, heart to believe and soul to search within. I also tell them to smile. You never know whose day you might make with a simple smile. (Read Michelle's Lovin' Life blog at WWE Universe)

Who in your life keeps you going? When things are tough and crumbling down, who do you pick up the phone to call?

Kim: I usually turn to God and the power of meditation and prayer. I've always relied on myself to get me through. But I also have Ashley, who is also a Doll, who has been my closest friend for many years.

How about you? Who keeps you going?

Michelle: I'm very blessed with the friends and family that I have and try to never take them for granted. Luckily, I have several people I can call on, from my parents to my girlfriends, I know they will be there for me to laugh with, cry with, vent with – anything I need, they are there for me. I love them dearly and only hope I can make a difference in their lives the way they have mine.

Being in the ring is physically strenuous and I have to work really hard at keeping my body in shape. Do you have a regular workout routine? What do you do to stay in shape?

Kim: I definitely have to work at keeping my body in shape with regular weight training and circuit training. I also try and go hiking, rollerblading and running to help keep my stamina and endurance in check. Plus, stretching is incredibly important for my oh-so famous leg lift. (Ha ha!)

Our schedule, as I'm sure yours is, too, is anything but regular. How do you stay in shape?

Michelle: Being on the road so much, I try to get a workout in any chance I get. I aim for at least four to five days a week. I prefer getting outdoors and walking, running and doing sprint intervals. I try to mix my routine up as much as possible. I also train with weights, alternating body parts, not to mention the physicality we already have in the ring.

What’s the most important message you want to get across as a celebrity?

Kim: Dream and believe.

What’s the most important message you want to get across as Divas Champion?

Michelle: Dream big and never forget where you came from. Stay grounded in your roots. God gives us a platform to use for good. I hope that I can use some of the gifts I've been given to make a difference in other people’s lives.
