Piesa Jai Ho (compusa de A.R. Rahman) a castigat premiul pentru Best Song from a Motion Picture la editia de duminica a premiilor Oscar.
A.R. Rahman este cel care semneaza coloana sonora a filmului Slumdog Millionaire, castigator al Oscarului la categoria Best Picture.
Acesta si-a unit fortele cu fetele de la Pussycat Dolls pentru a crea o noua versiune a cantecului, sperand astfel sa cucereasca topurile dance si pop.
Abilitatile vocale remarcabile ale solistei Nicole Scherzinger au facut din piesa Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny) una dintre cele mai inedite lansari ale anului.
