Pussycat Dolls au inceput un "cat fight" pe cinste. Se pare ca una dintre pisicute, Melody Thornton, a aruncat cateva replici taioase catre colega ei Nicole Schrzinger in timpul unui concert live sustinut In Phoenix, Arizona.
Melody a fost nemultumita de tensiunile generate in cadrul grupului de catre lidera Nicole, cand aceasta din urma a insistat ca ultimele doua single-uri PCD sa fie lansate sub numele de Pussycat Dolls "and" Nicole Scherzinger.
"Multumesc pentru sustinerea voastra [...] Puteti face orice vreti voi. Nu renuntati la visurile voastre si nu lasati pe nimeni sa va opreasca... niciodata!", a transmis Melody publicului, in timp ce Ashley, Kimberly si Jessica o priveau uimite.
Nicole Scherzinger a fost pe punctul de a parasi scena, dar ceva a facut-o sa se razgandeasca. Chiar si asa, restul showului a fost incordat, iar la sfarsit, fetele au plecat furioase.
Zvonurile privind plecarea lui Nicole Scherzinger din Pussycat Dolls au inceput sa circule inca de cand aceasta a anuntat ca vrea sa inregistreze un album solo, intitulat "Her Name Is Nicole".
Mai mult, despartirea de grup parea iminenta dupa inregistrarea noii versiuni a piesei "Jay Ho", semnata A. R. Rahman feat. Pussycat Dolls & Nicole Scherzinger.
Pana acum, casa de discuri a fetelor, Interscope, nu a facut nicio declaratie cu privire la acest subiect.

Nicole Scherzinger a decis că va părăsi grupul Pussycat Dolls, pentru a se concentra pe o carieră solo.
Cântăreaţa va pleca din Pussycat Dolls după terminarea turneului de promovare al celui mai nou album al trupei „Doll Domination".
Tensiunile acumulate în interiorul grupului au la bază faptul că single-ul „Jai Ho" a fost lansat drept un featuring Pussycat Dolls cu Nicole Scherzinger, la fel intâmplându-se şi în cazul piesei „Hush Hush".
Recent, în timpul unui concert din segmentul european al turneului „Doll Domination", Nicole a interpretat singură pe scenă piesa „Hush Hush", pe când celelalte fete se aflau în culise.
